RIP In Loving Memory
 
With heavy heart we wanted to let everyone know that Marty Allen passed away the evening of  February 12, 2018. He was in hospice care in Las Vegas, Nevada. His wife, Karon Kate Blackwell,was by his side. He passed away peacefully and did not suffer.
 
Marty's funeral arrangements have not been announced yet. Please refer to his Official Facebook Webpage for future updates. We do know that he will be interred in Southern California. There will be no immediate service in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This website will be transitioned to a historical website over the next 30 days or so. For now please disregard the autographed book section below.

You have found the official Marty Allen (comedian) website! As many of you know, Marty's career spans over 60 years.

Marty Allen is one of the most versatile performers in show business. He has worked solo as a comedy headliner in nightclubs, as part of the comedic duo Allen & Rossi, as a dramatic actor in TV roles, and in several movies. He often presents a comedy-music-dance show with singer-composer Karon Kate Blackwell. His friendly "Hello Dere" greeting is known and imitated by fans throughout the world.

Marty and Karon currently perform on several cruise ships and at other venues each year. Marty also makes guest appearances throughout the year at various events around Las Vegas, Nevada.Marty turns 88 on March 23rd! He still keeps a full work schedule and is a voracious reader when not performing. He works out regularly at the gym and likes to swim too.

Marty's career is being documented in the pages of this website. This website serves as a platform for his current career as well as his career highlights. As we acquire more information, we will add it to this website on a regular basis. 50+ years of performing takes a long time to compile the material but we expect to have a majority of it posted here by the summer of 2011.

Steve Rossi

It is hard to put into words... a great loss of a wonderfully-talented and a genuinely nice guy.

Steve and I were together as Allen & Rossi for over 15 years.  We had a thrilling show business  career and became one of the top comedy acts.  Still, today, the name Allen & Rossi brings a smile to our many fans.

I still remember the day Steve told me that we should team up.  Steve was physically handsome.  He had a warm sense of humor and a singing voice that made him a great straight man to my physically-crazy comedy.

We hit the heights of national success.  When it was finally over we parted ways amicably and remained close friends throughout the years.

Today many of Steve’s friends and family mourn his loss.  In my heart I say “Thank you God for the gift of a man named Steve Rossi that you sent into my life.”
